Message from the CEO of To Proudly Go

Hello Everyone,

I know that all of us are extremely disappointed with the election results earlier this week.  I know many of you may feel hopeless and feeling in despair.  I share these feeling with you.  2024 has been an extremely difficult year in so many ways. However, I believe that the results of the election make the work we do even more important, critical and needed.  To Proudly Go has the opportunity to provide hope, purpose and inspiration to our community.  

Now more than ever we need to work to elevate our voices, provide safe spaces, and help build a kinder and more thoughtful world inspired a vision of the future that we all want to see achieved. The issues of today will come, they will go.  We can’t loose sight of the future and the type of world we all want to live in and leave to the next generation.

I know first hand what it's like to have challenges and set backs.  I also know that the best way to change circumstances is to push forward and not give up. That is what I plan to do and continue to do in leading this organization.  Let's also do what we can to support each other if we need support.

In conclusion, I hope you can find comfort in this message and in the work we have done, are going to do, and will continue to do in the future.  I hope you can find purpose, support and strength in To Proudly Go’s mission. Even though set backs will happen, the future is enviable and it will be what we work to make it to be.  Live Proud and we will Prosper!
